It’s been a busy year for the reinvigorated and ever-positive Reverend And The Makers. 2016 culminated in a largely sold-out acoustic tour of the land. Before this, Jon McClure and his gang had been recording a new album over in Thailand which will hopefully see the light of day in 2017. There were festival gigs, political outcries and twitter spats coming from the Sheffield camp. A relatively high profile sleep-out to raise the plight of the homeless drew my attention back to them in the Autumn. Still relevant, they’ve shown longevity, staying power and the ability to get better and better. Here’s an early song of theirs for the sake of nostalgia.
